  1. "Security forces say the 27-year-old hospital attendant was killed in an exchange of fire, but activists say the death is an example of a "fake encounter", a practice in which police gun down a civilian and claim the victim initiated the shoot-out. "

Not that I am picking on India this week, but it seems that the media are pushing the human rights abuse extra heavy there and for good reason.the police are out of control and the world needs to know...we here in the US thought that the recent visit by our Mrs Clinton was a "good" collaboration with no real mentions of human rights abuses that I am aware of.......maybe that was a mistake????? Correct me if I am wrong on this....

  2. Its different when you are in the third world country. The police could make up some evidences to cover their wrong doings. I think there was a news here in the Philippines in Manila where in a hot pursuit of a car napper was captured. And the police fired the car nappers and resulting an overkill. It was really an overkill because the car nappers were already captured and the police men approached the vehicle and started to shoot but luckily it was captured on video by a news network. The police were sued but I think they are still in duty.

Justice can be controlled by people who have money in the third world countries and people know it.

There are many activists here that are missing and nothing happens.
