According to Professor Alan Miller, chair of the Scottish Human Rights Commission in an article posted in the Scottish paper: "Compassionate release wasn't recognition of his "human rights"; it was due process under Scottish law."
The release of the perpetrator Megrahi who was responsible for the deaths of 270 people on "compassionate" release has the victims families and many of those looking on from around the world in an uproar....... I have to agree.
